1. When taking the reference voltage from the PT secondary, carefully check the wiring to avoid short-circuiting the PT secondary.

2. Do not connect the voltage and current signal input cables interchangeably. Connecting the current signal input cable to PT3, the secondary side, or the measuring terminal of the test transformer may damage the instrument.

3. Never plug or unplug the measuring cables while input voltage and current are present to avoid burns.

4. If the instrument is not operating properly, check whether the power fuse is blown. Replace the fuse before continuing. If the problem is complex, please contact us.

5. The lightning arrester online tester should not be stored in a humid or high-temperature environment.

6. If the instrument is not used for more than three months, the battery will deplete and become damaged. Therefore, the instrument should be charged every three months (for at least six hours) to ensure normal operation.

Note: Charging procedure: Turn on the power switch and wait until the battery level indicator on the bottom of the LCD screen reaches 90% or above.
