XHHV series cart-type high voltage pulse generator is mainly used for impulse discharge and withstand voltage test in low and high voltage cable fault test. This instrument is an experimental instrument integrating DC high voltage power supply, energy storage capacitor and discharge ball device.
Operation method:
1. Turn on the AC 220V power supply.
2. Turn on the power switch, the power indicator light is on and the internal fan starts.
3. Check whether the zero position indicator light is on. If it is not on, turn the pressure adjustment knob counterclockwise to zero. Press the start button to start the high voltage, and the red high voltage indicator light is on.
4. Select the correct working mode. Generally, the cycle mode is selected when testing the cable fault test. At this time, the internal motor working sound can be heard; when the single mode is selected, you can trigger a single manual button at any time. Select the DC mode WV, the system will automatically enter the withstand voltage mode. When performing the withstand voltage test, please increase the voltage slowly.
5. Start pressurization, turn the pressure knob, and slowly increase the pressure until the fault point breaks through and discharges. The voltmeter and ammeter have a discharge pointer swing.
6. Connect the host to sample the waveform and analyze the waveform.
7. After the experiment, first adjust the voltage counterclockwise to zero, reduce the voltage, and then press the stop button. It is recommended to reduce the voltage before pressing the stop voltage. In an emergency, you can directly press the stop button and then adjust the voltage knob to zero.
8. After cutting off the high voltage, for personal safety, use a discharge rod to discharge the cable before disconnecting the wire, and then use the ground wire to directly short-circuit the cable.
Note:
1. If there is a problem during the test, you can ensure safety by pressing the 'Stop' button or turning off the power switch.
2. No matter what is tested, the test cable must be discharged before removing the high-voltage line to ensure personal safety.
