The XHHV535-4Z high voltage pulse generator is a system used to generate DC high-voltage pulse signals and generate electrical test signals with required parameters. It is often used as an impulse high-voltage power supply for fault detection of power cables with voltage levels of 35kV and below. Its impact high voltage is 0-35kV, built-in 4μF capacitor, and the discharge energy is up to 2450J.

The XHHV535-4Z HV surge generator consists of a charging circuit and a discharging circuit. It samples the voltage of the high-voltage cable and sends it to the voltage regulator control circuit. It is usually used in high-voltage flashover fault testing and acoustic-magnetic synchronization fault point determination. This device integrates a DC high-voltage source, an energy storage capacitor, and a discharge ball gap into a single portable unit weighing no more than 40kg.
