Product Description
Transformer Oil Dissolved Gas Analyzer (Gas Chromatograph)|XHSP1700
Introduction

The XHSP1700 Transformer Oil Dissolved Gas Analyzer is a gas chromatograph designed for dissolved gas analysis (DGA) of transformer insulating oil. By separating and quantifying fault gases such as hydrogen, methane, ethane, ethylene and acetylene, it helps diagnose incipient faults including overheating, partial discharge and arcing in power transformers before they escalate into failure. Combining multiple detectors (FID, TCD, ECD, FPD and NPD) with precise temperature and gas-flow control, it delivers reliable laboratory and on-site oil testing.

Key Features
  • 5.7-inch color LCD with optional touch screen for intuitive operation.
  • 6-way temperature control from room temperature +5ºC to 400ºC with ±0.1ºC accuracy.
  • 16-order temperature programming; program rate 0.1 ~ 39ºC/min, or 0.1 ~ 80ºC/min in high-speed mode.
  • Electronic pressure/flow control (EPC/EFC) with constant current, constant voltage and bypass modes for nitrogen, air, hydrogen, helium and argon.
  • Up to 3 detectors — FID, TCD, ECD, FPD and NPD — for comprehensive gas detection.
  • Multiple injector types: packed column, capillary, six-valve gas sampling and automatic headspace sampling.
  • Ethernet (IEEE802.3) communication interface for data transfer and remote monitoring.
  • Manual or automatic sampling start.

Who Is It For

Built for laboratories and teams that rely on dissolved gas analysis for transformer condition assessment, the XHSP1700 serves a broader audience than single-detector oil testers:

  • Power utility and transformer manufacturer oil analysis laboratories running routine DGA.
  • Third-party oil testing and inspection agencies.
  • Transformer condition monitoring and predictive maintenance teams.
  • Chemical and petrochemical laboratories needing multi-detector gas chromatography analysis.

FAQ
1. Who is this DGA analyzer designed for?
It is built for transformer oil analysis laboratories, power utilities, transformer manufacturers, third-party testing agencies and condition monitoring teams that perform dissolved gas analysis for predictive maintenance.
2. What transformer faults can DGA detect?
By measuring dissolved fault gases such as hydrogen, methane, ethylene, acetylene and carbon monoxide, it identifies overheating, partial discharge and arcing faults before they escalate into transformer failure.
3. Which detectors are available?
It supports up to 3 detectors from FID, TCD, ECD, FPD and NPD — FID for hydrocarbon gases, TCD for hydrogen, ECD for halogenated compounds — covering the full DGA spectrum.
4. How precise is the temperature control?
6-way temperature control from RT +5ºC to 400ºC with ±0.1ºC accuracy and 16-order temperature programming ensures reproducible chromatographic separation.
5. Can it connect to a laboratory network?
Yes. Its Ethernet (IEEE802.3) interface and EPC/EFC electronic gas control support automated operation, data transfer and remote monitoring in modern laboratories.
