Cable Fault Pre-Locator | 12.1-Inch Touch Screen TDR Underground Cable Fault Locator| XHGG502
Product Description
The XHGG502 cable fault pre-locator adopts an industrial-grade 12.1-inch touch all-in-one computer and a simple operating software interface to realize human-computer interaction testing. Using industrial-grade integrated circuit design and an embedded industrial computer system, it achieves signal filtering, acquisition, data processing, graphic display and graphic analysis, completing cable speed measurement, cable length test, cable fault distance test and resistance test.
It accurately and quickly detects the main insulation failure of power cables with voltage levels of 35KV and below, calibrates the cable length, and roughly tests the cable fault distance. This cable fault pre-locator is suitable for low-resistance, short-circuit, open-circuit and disconnection faults of power cables, high-frequency coaxial cables, street light cables and buried wires made of various materials with different cross-sections and media, as well as high-resistance leakage and flashover high-resistance faults.
Pre-locating cable faults with the reflectometer XHGG502 is based on the low-voltage pulse reflection method (TDR), high-voltage flashover method (ICE, DECAY) and arc reflection pulse reflection method (ARC single shot and ARC multi-shot). The XHGG502 for cable fault distance test includes a host and a coupler.
Applications & Target Audience: Engineered for automotive and equipment manufacturing plant electrical departments, tobacco and food processing plant maintenance teams, cable fault testing service companies, and power cable distributors and engineering agents that pre-locate low-resistance, open-circuit, disconnection, high-resistance leakage and flashover faults on cables up to 68km.
