The high-voltage bridge cable fault locator, based on the MURRAY bridge principle, is used for locating breakdown and low-insulation-resistance defect points in wires and cables, as well as defects in cable factories. It features a high-voltage constant current source, sensitive amplifier, and galvanometer, with a special double-core high-voltage cable and four-terminal resistance measurement method. The unit is housed in a portable aluminum alloy case, with an insulated rod for safe operation. Unlike the wave reflection method, the bridge balance method offers no blind area and is ideal for short cable and end-point defect detection.
