The XHCC-4/40Y is a pulse energy storage capacitor: it stores the charging energy of a small-power power supply over a certain time interval, and releases that stored energy quickly within a very short interval at the moment it is needed, forming a strong impact current and a strong impact power. It is mainly used in high-voltage impulse discharge test, high-energy physics, oscillation circuits, geological prospecting and other fields.
How It WorksIn use, the capacitor is charged from a small-power supply over a controllable time interval. When the moment of need arrives, the stored energy is released quickly within a very short interval, so the capacitor delivers a strong impact current and a strong impact power to the discharge circuit. That fast, concentrated release is what makes it suitable for high-voltage impulse discharge test, high-energy physics, oscillation circuits and geological prospecting.

| Applications | High-voltage impulse discharge test, high-energy physics, oscillation circuits, geological prospecting |
1. It is strictly forbidden to hit or collide with the high-voltage pulse capacitor, otherwise the internal film is easily damaged.
2. When using pulse energy storage capacitors, read the instructions and the content of the capacitor label to prevent overvoltage use.
3. During use, pay attention to the withstand voltage and safety distance of the connecting wire.
4. After the test is completed, the high-voltage end must be fully discharged.
5. During use, if there is an abnormal sound inside the capacitor, it is recommended to stop using it, as there is a risk of internal insulation damage.
6. If there are bulges on the capacitor shell, it is recommended to stop using it, as there is a risk of deterioration of the internal material and reduced insulation.
