XHCC-2/40
Applications
Pulse energy storage capacitors store the energy charged from a low-power source into the capacitor over a certain time interval. At the required moment, the stored energy is rapidly released within a very short time interval, generating a powerful surge current and high pulse power. They are mainly used in fields such as high-voltage impulse discharge testing, high-energy physics, oscillating circuits, and geological exploration.

Precautions and Common Faults
1. Avoid impacting or bumping the pulse energy storage capacitor, as this may easily damage the internal film.
2. When using the pulse energy storage capacitor, please read the instruction manual and the capacitor label to prevent overvoltage use.
3. During use, pay attention to the voltage rating and safety distance of the connecting wires.
4. After the test is completed, the high-voltage terminal must be fully discharged.
5. If there is an abnormal noise inside the capacitor during use, it is recommended to stop using it, as there is a risk of internal insulation damage.
6. If the capacitor casing shows bulging or protrusions, it is recommended to stop using it, as there is a risk of internal material deterioration and reduced insulation.
