XHGG501B Cable fault locator

The XHGG501B cable fault pre-locator is suitable for measuring the low resistance, short circuit, open circuit fault, high resistance leakage and high resistance flash over fault of power cables, high frequency coaxial cables, local telephone cables, street lamps and buried wires of various materials with different cross sections and different media.


 Product Features:

  • SCM operating platform, push-button operation mode, micro-printer integrated design, can print test waveform and related content at any time;
  • System functions: fault distance measurement, fault location, propagation speed test, fault resistance value, cable path search, buried depth detection, etc.
  • Test methods: low voltage pulse, flash over method, audio method, acoustic magnetic synchronization method, valley value method, peak method, electromagnetic induction method, etc.

  • Display: All operations of the instrument are displayed on the display;
  • Communication interface: used to realize the data output of the machine and complete the communication with the PC;
  • Sampling interface: low-voltage pulse method pulse signal sampling interface, high-voltage flashover method sampler receiving signal sampling interface;
  • Grounding column: safety grounding terminal (this instrument is inductive sampling method, no grounding wire is required on site);
  • Power socket: working power supply of the instrument, AC 220V connection port;
  • Fuse socket: the place where the fuse of the AC 220V power supply system is installed;
  • Power switch: (1) "I" position, use AC 220V power supply to supply power to the system;

                                (2) “II” gear, use the internal battery to power the system; when the “power socket” is connected to the AC 220V power supply, it also charges the battery at the same time;

                                (3) "O" gear, turn off the power of the instrument;

  • Amplitude knob: adjust the amplitude knob when collecting waveforms to change the amplitude of the collected waveforms;
  • Displacement knob: Adjust the displacement knob when collecting waveforms to change the baseline height of the collected waveforms;
  • Keyboard keys: 12 function keys to complete the basic operation of the instrument;
  • Printer: It can print the content displayed on the monitor and the test report.
