Impulse Discharge Function
This system is used to generate DC high-voltage pulse signals, producing electrical test signals with the required parameters. It is commonly used as a high-voltage impulse power source for fault detection in power cables of 35kV voltage level and below.
It consists of a charging circuit and a discharge circuit. It samples the voltage of the high-voltage cable and sends it to the voltage stabilization control circuit. The impulse magnet organically combines the DC high-voltage power supply, energy storage capacitor, and high-voltage discharge gap into one unit. It is typically used in high-voltage flashover fault testing and acoustic-magnetic synchronous fault location.
