XHHV535-4Z
This equipment is mainly applied to impulse discharge and withstand voltage tests in the process of low and high voltage cable fault testing. It is a high-end trolley-type experimental instrument that integrates a DC high-voltage source, energy storage capacitor, discharge ball device, automatic discharge device, and voltage level switching device. Compared with traditional experimental devices, it completely solves the problems related to usability, portability, safety, and reliability.
Example of DC withstand voltage test procedure
1. Check the wiring: Connect the high-voltage output cable plug to the instrument's DC terminal, and connect the other end to the test object. Ensure that all ground wires and the high-voltage output cable are in good contact. Connect the 4mm² (thick) ground wire to the high-voltage pulse generator, and the 2.5mm² (thin) ground wire to the discharge rod;
2. Check that the ground wire and the high-voltage output cable from the main unit to the test object are in good contact. When everything is ready, connect the AC 220V power supply;

3. After connecting the power cord, turn on the AC 220V power switch (position I). The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the AC 220V power supply is normal;
4. When the zero-position indicator light is on, ensure that the overcurrent protection switch is pressed down, and press the "Start button" to activate the high voltage.
5. After activating the high voltage, other personnel should not move or approach the connected wires to prevent high-voltage electric shock;
6. Slowly increase the voltage to the required level. Observe the voltmeter and ammeter readings to detect any leakage or breakdown;

7. After the test is completed, rotate the "Voltage Adjustment Knob" counterclockwise to the zero position, ensuring that the "Voltage Adjustment Knob" is in the zero position. The zero-position indicator light will illuminate.
8. After the zero-position indicator light is on, press the "Stop button" to cut off the high-voltage output. At this time, the test object needs to be properly and thoroughly discharged using a dedicated discharge rod; observe the change in the "voltmeter" during discharge. When the "voltmeter" indicates "zero," the discharge is complete.
9. Turn off the power switch; put away all test leads.
Instrument Components:
1. Main unit: Applies high voltage and high-energy pulse signals to the cable under test;
2. High-voltage output cable: Connects the high-voltage output terminal of the main unit to the core of the cable under test;
3. Ground wire: Safety ground and discharge rod ground wire;
4. Power cord: Power cord for the instrument;
5. Fuse: Spare fuse for the AC 220V power supply system;
6. Discharge rod: Used for DC current-limiting discharge or DC short-circuit discharge on the end of the cable under test.
