Troubleshooting
1. Open Circuit Measurement
When an open circuit is detected during measurement, the display shows "Open Circuit," and the "CL" value will be very large. In this case, check the following:
(1) Whether the measurement plug and socket are making good contact.
(2) Whether the measurement electrode leads are broken.
2. Electrolysis Open Circuit
When an electrolysis open circuit occurs, the "DJ" value is zero, and the display does not count.
In this case, check the following:
(1) Whether the electrolysis plug and socket are making good contact.
(2) Whether the electrolysis lead on the cathode chamber is broken.
(3) Whether the platinum wires of the cathode and anode electrodes are broken.
3. Measurement Short Circuit
When a short circuit is detected during measurement, the status displays "Short Circuit," and the digital display does not count. In this case, check the following:
(1) Whether the measurement electrode plug or socket is short-circuited.
(2) Whether the two spherical ends of the measurement electrodes are touching each other.
