The XHSC-60Q is a fully integrated digital burn-through bridge that combines high-voltage burn-through (60kV, 600mA) and intelligent bridge fault pre-location in a single portable pull-rod case. Purpose-built for field service teams who need rapid deployment on complex cable systems — including GIS-terminated and cross-interconnected high-voltage networks — without the logistical burden of separate instruments.

The XHSC-60Q houses its high-voltage constant current source, bridge detection module, and 3.5-inch TFT LCD display inside a rugged pull-rod case rated for field transport. The intelligent bridge module supports three positioning algorithms:

  • Bridge Method: Requires known cable length and equal cross-section auxiliary cable with low-resistance far-end short circuit
  • Cross-Section Method: Uses known cross-sectional area and material data — ideal when auxiliary cable length differs
  • Voltage Comparison Method: Determines fault distance by percentage calculation from two wiring configurations — suitable when only cable length is known

All methods operate via the high-potential-side LCD with ground-potential rotary control — no physical contact with the high-voltage section during operation.
