The intelligent cable pipeline detector , also known as pipeline tester or path tester, is a path detection instrument with strong comprehensive performance. It has multiple functions such as

pipeline path detection, cable identification, fault finding , etc. The instrument consists of a transmitter, a transmitting current clamp, a receiver , a receiving flexible current clamp, a connecting test line, and an A - frame (optional) .

The intelligent cable pipeline detector can be used for path detection, pipeline census and depth measurement of metal pipelines and underground cables in a trench less environment. The instrument uses a variety of filtering technologies, has anti-interference capabilities, can accurately locate and measure depth, and is suitable for the detection and patrol of various underground metal pipelines, pipeline management and maintenance, municipal planning and construction, power supply and other departments. It is one of the necessary instruments for pipeline maintenance units. This function is achieved by the cooperation of a signal transmitter, a receiver, a signal transmission clamp and a connecting test line.

Eliminate interference from adjacent cables. When measuring adjacent cables, the measurement of adjacent cables can be distinguished based on the different signal strengths and measured current phases fed back by the adjacent cables. During the cable tracking process, observe the phase table.

Interference distance
When using the coupling method and the induction method, the transmitter will generate interference within a short distance. The interference distance is related to the transmission power and frequency. The greater the power and the higher the frequency, the stronger the interference.
The minimum distance at which a receiver is not disturbed by a transmitter often requires experimental determination:

Depth readings are surprisingly accurate — tested it against known lines and was within a few inches every time. The multiple frequency options really help cut through interference in busy areas, and the battery lasts a full workday no problem. Build feels sturdy enough for field use. Only knock: the screen can be a little hard to read in direct sunlight, and the manual's pretty bare-bones. If you're new to locating, expect a learning curve. Overall, great value. Does everything my old name-brand unit did for half the price. Would recommend to any contractor or utility tech on a budget.
