The XHGG502 ARC underground cable fault locator is suitable for measuring the low resistance, short circuit, open circuit and disconnection faults of various materials of different cross-sections and different media, high-frequency coaxial cables, local telephone cables, street light cables, and buried wires. The below picture shows cable length or cable open circuit fault distance measured by using low voltage pulse test mode of XHGG502. When using the low voltage pulse method, it is not necessary to connect the high voltage pulse generator. Other test methods must be used in conjunction with a high-voltage pulse generator.
