Description
The hidden buried line fault detector is a dedicated instrument for power, broadcasting, post and telecommunications sectors, industrial and mining areas, and rural regions to locate underground cables (including direct - buried armored cables) and detect their faults. It identifies cable direction, precise underground position, approximate burial depth, and various faults like leakage and broken core—covering lines under paddy fields, cement/asphalt roads, bricks, stones, and building walls. It can also detect above - ground waterproof wires and cables with proper methods.
Transmitter

The transmitter panel is equipped with "power switch", "power indication"; "output selection", "high, medium, low"; "output indication" and "K measurement" switching switches, and the indicator light indicates the switching position; "output·KΩ measurement" shares an output terminal, which is switched by the "output·indication" and "KΩ measurement" switches; set "output 2" output terminal; square meter head indicates output and KΩ resistance. It can check the line on, off, mixed, and measure the size of the ground leakage resistance.

Instrument principle and structure
