XHHG520

The Cable Fault Locator is designed for precise detection of outer sleeve failures in cables, providing accurate fault location to minimize downtime and maintenance costs.

The equipment uses an electric voltage regulator and an R-type transformer to form a high-voltage constant current source, with keypad operation for voltage increase and decrease. The open-circuit voltage is 15kV, and the short-circuit current is 100mA. A high-sensitivity amplifier and galvanometer indicate balance, forming a balanced bridge with a proportional potentiometer, and the entire unit is positioned at a high potential. The measuring cable is a specially designed double-core high-voltage rubber cable, and a four-terminal resistance measurement method is used to avoid errors introduced by lead resistance. The entire panel is positioned at a low potential. One-button operation allows for automatic calculation of the cable length and fault distance. The high-voltage source and bridge are integrated into a portable protective case. Therefore, this equipment features high voltage, light weight, convenient operation, and safe use.
