The XHGX507 Pro Underground Cable Fault Pinpointer is a professional-grade electromagnetic induction detection system engineered for precise underground cable fault location. It excels at pinpointing cable-to-ground insulation faults up to 2MΩ using advanced step voltage detection technology, eliminating the need for high-voltage flashover equipment. Designed for street lighting cables, buried power distribution cables, and communication cable networks.

  • Step Voltage A-Frame Fault Detection: Proprietary step voltage detection method pinpoints cable-to-ground insulation faults up to 2MΩ without high-voltage equipment. The A-frame accessory measures potential differences along the cable path to locate the exact fault point with zero potential crossing detection
  • 2MΩ High-Resistance Fault Capability: Uniquely designed to locate high-resistance cable insulation failures that traditional time-domain reflectometry (TDR) and high-voltage surge methods struggle with. Ideal for single-phase metallic ground faults where discharge energy is insufficient for acoustic pinpointing
