The XHGX507 cable fault comprehensive tester developed by the company using the latest concept is especially suitable for fast and accurate positioning of cable-to-ground insulation faults, (live) path finding, cable identification, and deep positioning.

The XHGX507 cable pipe locator is designed based on the electromagnetic induction method and the application of the communication principle. Contains more user-friendly design in use. The large-screen LCD displays the signal strength, and the bars, arrows and voice prompts make it easy for the operator to determine the location of the cable underground and the point of failure. One person can complete all operations.

XHGX507 cable fault comprehensive tester(cable pipe locator) can be used to find the cable (live or uncharged) path and identification, but also can be used to find the direct buried cable fault. It can complete tasks that were only possible with the past few sets of instruments.

The XHGX507 cable fault comprehensive tester changes the traditional cable fault location concept. It does not require high-voltage test equipment, AC power supply, and waveform analysis. The wiring is simple and clear, and the method of use is easy to learn. In the past, when we searched for the cable path and identified the cable, it was necessary to test the power failure of the cable, and some running cables could not be powered off, so that it can easily solve the problem of finding and identifying the path of the live cable. It can also directly find the path and identification of 50Hz live cables.

Been using this on commercial job sites for about 3 months now. For the money, it's hard to beat. Depth readings are surprisingly accurate — tested it against known lines and was within a few inches every time. The multiple frequency options really help cut through interference in busy areas, and the battery lasts a full workday no problem. Build feels sturdy enough for field use. Only knock: the screen can be a little hard to read in direct sunlight, and the manual's pretty bare-bones. If you're new to locating, expect a learning curve. Overall, great value. Does everything my old name-brand unit did for half the price. Would recommend to any contractor or utility tech on a budget.
