The demagnetizer for power transformers and mutual inductors is a dedicated device designed to eliminate the residual magnetism hazards of large power transformers and mutual inductors after DC resistance tests. Working Principle
The power transformer and current transformer demagnetizer utilizes the principle of DC attenuated frequency conversion.
(1) It employs a DC demagnetization method;
(2) The current amplitude decreases periodically;
(3) The current polarity changes periodically;
(4) Demagnetization is achieved by gradually reducing the hysteresis loop and canceling out the magnetic poles.
