Whether transformers are in semi-finished or finished stages, DC resistance testing is mandatory for delivery, installation, and handover processes—it is also an essential part of preventive testing in the power industry. This testing enables the detection of manufacturing flaws (e.g., issues with coil materials, welding defects, loose connections, missing strands, or disconnections) as well as potential hazards that may arise after commissioning. To address the demand for rapid measurement of transformer DC resistance, we have developed this DC resistance tester by leveraging our core technical strengths. Equipped with a large, true-color high-resolution LCD screen, it integrates touch control and a jog dial for effortless on-site operation. With Chinese menu prompts, the device offers intuitive and straightforward operation, alongside fast testing speed, high accuracy, and a broad measurement range.

Main Functional Features

• With 50A maximum output current of test power supply and 0 ~ 25kΩ test range, this instrument can meet most transformers’ test needs.
• During test, this instrument can automatically calculate resistance change rate within 5S, 15S and 30S, which can assist testers to judge test data stability and prevent data misreading.
• It provides numerous protections against misconnection to 380V power (50A/40A model), back electromotive force, wire disconnection, power failure as well as alarm function when ground wire is not connected (50A/40A model).
• Equipped with a thermal printer, this instrument can store 200 pieces of data locally and support mass data storage in USB disks.
• With fresh and simple 7-inch industrial-level true color screen and integration of full touch control and jog dial, it provides comfortable and convenient human-machine interaction.
