Product Overview

The XHTX1318 Series Transformer Characteristic Tester is a high-precision instrument dedicated to measuring characteristic parameters of transformers, including capacity, no-load performance, and load performance. It functions as an integrated solution combining a transformer capacity tester and a transformer characteristic parameter tester. This device is capable of conducting precise measurements of a full range of power frequency parameters for various types of transformers, such as capacity, model type, no-load current, no-load loss, short-circuit (load) loss, and impedance voltage.


Performance Features:
★ 1. Accurately measures the capacity of various distribution transformers; passive measurement, convenient and accurate.

★ 2. Built-in power supply, automatically generates a three-phase high-power test power source.

★ 3. Measures no-load current, no-load loss, short-circuit voltage, and short-circuit loss of various types of transformers.

★ 4.  Accurately determines the model of the tested transformer through no-load testing, including: oil-immersed S7, S9, S11, S13, S15, S20, S21, S22, S25; dry-type SCB9, SCB10, SCB11, SCB12, SCB13, SCB14, SCB15, SCB17, SCB18, SCB19, and other types of transformers.

★ 5. Automatically performs waveform distortion correction, temperature correction (provides two methods: simple temperature correction and separate correction of additional losses), voltage correction (no-load test under non-rated voltage), and current correction (short-circuit test under non-rated current conditions), which is very suitable for units that lack the conditions for short-circuit testing of larger capacity transformers.

★ 6. Measures the 2nd to 32nd harmonic content and total harmonic distortion of voltage and current.

★ 7. Performs simple vector analysis and draws vector diagrams.

★ 8. Displays waveform diagrams of various electrical parameters, functioning as an oscilloscope.

★ 9. Wide voltage range: The maximum voltage can be measured up to 750V, ensuring accuracy without switching ranges. Prevents damage to the instrument due to incorrect voltage range selection.

★ 10. Current range is divided into high and low ranges, ensuring a maximum measurement range of 100A and accurate measurement of millivolt-level amplitudes, meeting the requirements for PT impedance voltage measurement.

★ 11. Capacity measurement range: 20kVA~800000kVA (three-phase transformers)

5kVA~100000kVA (single-phase transformers)

★ 12. Battery remaining power percentage indication function, not just a simple low battery alarm. ★ 13. Large screen, high-brightness color LCD display, full Chinese character menus and operation prompts enable user-friendly human-machine interaction. Conductive silicone touch buttons make operation simpler and extend button lifespan.

★ 14. Users can print test data at any time using a miniature printer.

★ 15. Test result storage function, capable of storing 200 sets of capacity test data.
