The cable spiker is specialized equipment designed for destructive identification of cables after initial identification and before sawing. In power cable construction, maintenance, and migration projects, this device ensures operator safety by confirming whether cables are live before cutting.

The device provides absolute confirmation of cable status through mechanical puncture, creating a short circuit point. If the cable is electrified, it will explode when punctured; if not, no reaction occurs.
