This piece of equipment is mainly applied to conduct impulse discharge and withstand voltage tests when carrying out fault detection on low and high-voltage power cables. Classified as a high-end cart-type test apparatus, it integrates five core components—DC high-voltage power source, energy storage capacitors, discharge sphere assembly, automatic discharge device, and cable fault tester sampling module—into an integrated system. Compared with traditional test setups, it thoroughly overcomes limitations in terms of operational convenience, portability, safety, and reliability.
The instrument adopts high-precision and high-stability professional high-voltage electronic parts as well as high-frequency high-voltage technology, resulting in a simplified and optimized overall structure. In consideration of users’ long-standing habits of utilizing transformers and operation cabinets to produce DC high voltage, the pulse generator is designed with a user-centric operation mode and integrates miniaturized, highly reliable circuit designs. Precautions
When using this device, please carefully read the instrument's instruction manual and understand the operating procedures, wiring methods, and precautions.
The instrument is a highly precise electronic high-voltage device. Non-professionals are prohibited from disassembling it. Handle with care during transportation and avoid rough handling or impact.
Before increasing the voltage, the high-voltage ground and sampling ground must be reliably grounded separately. They must not be connected together to a single ground, otherwise, it will damage the equipment and may even cause personal injury.
If any abnormality occurs at any time during the test, press the "Stop" button or turn off the power switch to ensure safety.
When removing the high-voltage and grounding wires, it is essential to perform a thorough discharge to ensure safety.
If the overcurrent protection switch trips, and you need to continue increasing the voltage, please turn off the instrument power. Rotate the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to the zero position, press the overcurrent protection switch, and then operate the instrument to increase the voltage again.
